Precision CNC machining delivers tight dimensional tolerances to meet your exact engineering specifications.

ASTM B564 / ASME SB564 Compliance

ASTM B564 is the international standard specification for nickel alloy forgings, covering hot-finished and cold-finished forgings, forged billets, and forged bar. Our Monel 400 forging rings fully conform to this standard with:

Manufacturing Process

Raw Material Inspection

Incoming billet verified against ASTM B564 chemistry requirements via OES analysis

Hot Forging

Heated to 950-1150°C and forged with controlled reduction ratio for uniform grain flow

Solution Annealing

Heat treated at 870-980°C followed by rapid water quenching for optimal properties

Precision Machining

CNC turned and milled to customer drawings with ±0.05mm tolerance capability

Final Inspection

100% dimensional check, NDT, mechanical testing, and surface quality verification
