ASTM B564 Monel 400 (UNS N04400) Nickel Alloy Flanges

ASTM B564 Monel 400 flanges are high-performance forged nickel-copper alloy flanges designed for demanding corrosive environments. With excellent resistance to seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and alkaline media, Monel 400 is widely used in marine engineering, chemical processing, and offshore oil & gas industries.

Manufactured in accordance with ASTM B564 / ASME SB564, these flanges offer reliable mechanical strength and long service life under both oxidizing and reducing conditions.


Material Specification – Monel 400 (UNS N04400)

Monel 400 is a solid-solution nickel-copper alloy with the following typical composition:

  • Nickel (Ni): ≥ 63%
  • Copper (Cu): 28–34%
  • Iron (Fe): ≤ 2.5%
  • Manganese (Mn), Silicon (Si): trace elements

This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and chemical environments.
