Nickel 200 Round Bar is a solid, cylindrical bar made from commercially pure nickel (99.6% nickel content). It is a high-performance material known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and good mechanical properties. Nickel 200 is widely used in industries that require resistance to corrosive environments and high temperatures.
The chemical composition of Nickel 200 typically includes:
Nickel (Ni): 99.6% min
Carbon (C): 0.15% max
Iron (Fe): 0.40% max
Manganese (Mn): 0.35% max
Silicon (Si): 0.35% max
Copper (Cu): 0.25% max
Sulfur (S): 0.01% max
Nickel 200 is highly resistant to corrosion in a wide range of environments, including alkaline solutions, neutral and acidic salts, and organic acids.
It performs well in reducing environments but is less suitable for oxidizing conditions.
Nickel 200 has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, making it suitable for applications in electronics and heat exchangers.
