High Manganese Steel & Cr-Mo Alloy Steel Ball Mill Liners

Premium ball mill liners designed for copper, zinc, and lead ore processing with HRC50-65 hardness and ISO9001 certified services.

Product Specifications

High Manganese Steel Lining

Composition: 10%-14% manganese, 1.0%-1.4% carbon content (austenitic steel)
Features: Excellent toughness with work hardening capability under impact (HB200 to HB500+)
Applications: Coarse and medium grinding stages for hard rocks like granite and iron ore
Limitations: Less effective in low-impact fine grinding environments

High Chromium Cast Iron Lining

Composition: 15%-30% chromium, 2.0%-3.5% carbon with Cr7C3 hard phase structure
Features: Extreme hardness (HRC55-65), 3-5x wear resistance of high manganese steel
Applications: Fine grinding stages, overflow ball mills for cement clinker and limestone
Limitations: High brittleness with poor impact resistance

Low Alloy Steel Lining

Composition: Cr, Mo, Ni, V alloy elements (total <5%) with heat treatment
Features: Balanced hardness (HRC35-50) and toughness with excellent weldability
Applications: Medium impact conditions for mineral processing and building materials
Types: Chromium-molybdenum steel and nickel-hard cast iron variants
