Custom aluminum alloy round shaft sleeves and bushings are supplied against the agreed part definition. The drawing determines the bore, outside diameter, length and fit for the intended shaft or housing.
Specify the alloy grade, delivery condition and finish for each component. Surface treatment must be agreed for that material and the mating interface. A title referring to wear resistance or durability does not establish a universal service life, hardness or operating limit.
Identify critical dimensions, fits and geometric tolerances on the approved drawing. Inspection methods, sampling and required records should be agreed for the order. The quotation does not rely on one blanket micron-level tolerance for every diameter, length and material.
Send the part drawing with revision, quantity, intended assembly, material specification and delivery destination. Include mating-part details where the fit is important. State any requested material documents or inspection reports so they can be included in the agreed supply scope.
