Nipoflange is used in the pipe industry like a weldolet or a nipolet for a 90° branch connection.
A Nipoflange is a combination of weldolet, nipolet and flange.
Two different pipe branch connectionsOn the run pipe side a nipoflange is designed like a weldolet.
That means the branch connection on the run pipe side is a welding connection. On the other side there
it has a flange connection. The flange connection can be designed according to customers requirements
(acc. To DIN or ANSI).

FORGING
Forging of this alloy is carried out between 2200/1600ºF (1200/870ºC): heavy forging is carried out in the range 2200/1850ºF (1200/1010ºC).
Chromium carbide precipitation will occur in the temperature range 1400/1000ºF (760/540ºC), thus parts should be cooled rapidly through this temperature range.
WELDABILITY
The alloy may be welded by all processes. The alloy supplier should be consulted for a guide to electrodes and filler metals to be used. Parts to be welded should be clean and joint designs should be such that a minimum of stress may be set up during welding.
