Nipoflange is used in the pipe industry like a weldolet or a nipolet for a 90° branch connection.
A Nipoflange is a combination of weldolet, nipolet and flange.
Two different pipe branch connectionsOn the run pipe side a nipoflange is designed like a weldolet.
That means the branch connection on the run pipe side is a welding connection. On the other side there
it has a flange connection. The flange connection can be designed according to customers requirements

Application
The alloy is used in jet engine and high-speed airframe parts such as wheels, buckets and spacers, and high-temperature bolts and fasteners. Inconel 718 is also used in the oil and gas drilling and production industries due to it's high strength and resistance to chlorides, stress corrosion and sulfide stress cracking. Within these industries the alloy has been used for valves, pump shafts and wellhead components.
WELDABILITY
The alloy may be welded in either the aged or annealed conditions. Welding an age-hardened material will result in the formation of a softened heat-affected zone
