Equal diameter tee refers to the same diameter at both ends, and reducing tee refers to the branch pipe with different diameters from the other two, which is called reducing tee. 316L is ultra-low carbon, and L means low carbon, so the carbon content of 316L material is lower than that of 316 material. Secondly, the corrosion resistance is different. 316L stainless steel has better grain boundary corrosion resistance, corrosion resistance and rust resistance. The strength of the two materials is also different. The strength of 316L is lower than that of 316, which is convenient for processing. In addition, the welding section of 316 stainless steel needs post welding annealing, while 316L stainless steel does not.

Heat resistance
The 316 material can be used intermittently below 1600 degrees and continuously below 1700 degrees, but it is better not to use 316 stainless steel in the range of 800-1575 degrees.
