Overview

TOBO Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipes deliver top-tier performance for demanding industrial applications. Produced in strict accordance with ASME quality standards, these pipes feature a unique microstructure with roughly 50% ferrite and 50% austenite. This gives them outstanding strength—with yield strength more than twice that of standard austenitic stainless steels—as well as excellent toughness and superior resistance to various forms of corrosion, especially chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. Engineered to operate in the harshest environments in offshore, chemical and energy industries, they offer a dependable, long‑service and cost‑effective piping solution.
 

1. Product Description

TOBO Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipes are high‑alloy products mainly consisting of chromium, nickel, molybdenum and nitrogen. The term “Super Duplex” refers to a premium grade in the duplex family, with higher chromium and molybdenum content that provides improved corrosion resistance compared to standard duplex grades such as 2205. Our product line includes both seamless and welded pipes, manufactured to meet tight dimensional and metallurgical requirements for critical applications.
 

2. Key Specifications

  • Material Standard: ASTM A790 / A928 UNS S32750 (2507)
  • Size Range: Outer diameter from 1/2” to 16” (larger sizes available on request)
  • Wall Thickness: SCH40S up to XXS, suitable for various pressure conditions
  • Design & Manufacturing Standards: ASME B36.10M / ASME B36.19M for dimensions, ASME B16.9 for fittings
  • Operating Temperature: -50°C to 250°C

These pipes are specially developed for severe service conditions where reliability is critical. Main applications include:

  • Oil, Gas & Offshore: Subsea pipelines, process piping, topside tubing and umbilicals for hydrocarbon transmission

  • Chemical & Petrochemical: Transport of aggressive media including acids, chlorides and corrosive process fluids

  • Seawater & Desalination: Intake and discharge pipelines, RO high‑pressure lines and cooling systems

  • Flue Gas Treatment: FGD systems and high‑chloride wastewater treatment

5. Function

The primary function of TOBO Super Duplex Pipes is to provide a safe, durable and low‑maintenance pipeline for highly corrosive, abrasive or high‑pressure fluids. They maintain structural integrity under extreme static and dynamic loads, avoid expensive leaks or breakdowns in key facilities, and lower the total life‑cycle cost through long service life and reduced downtime.

  1. First-Time Clients: 50% advance payment, 50% balance before shipment.
  2. Strategic Clients: 30% advance, 70% payment against copy of Bill of Lading.
  3. Long-Term Agreements: 60-day credit terms available (subject to credit approval).
  4. Invoicing: 13% VAT Special Invoice provided; FORM A Certificate of Origin for exports.
