Product Specification
Silicone compensation Type K thermocouple cable is a specialized cable designed to extend the signal from Type K thermocouples (Chromel-Alumel) to measuring instruments. It features conductors made of compensation alloys (copper-nickel for positive, nickel-manganese for negative) that mimic the thermoelectric properties of Type K materials, ensuring accurate temperature signal transmission. The silicone insulation and jacket provide excellent high-temperature resistance and flexibility, making it suitable for industrial environments with elevated temperatures.

- IEC Standard: IEC 60584-3 (compensation cables for thermocouples)
- Silicone Insulation Standard: Meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating
- Color Coding: Positive (compensation alloy) - yellow; Negative (compensation alloy) - red (per IEC)
- High-Temperature Resistance: Silicone insulation allows continuous operation at -60°C to 200°C (short-term up to 250°C)
- Signal Accuracy: Compensation alloys minimize EMF deviation (≤2.5μV/°C at 100°C vs. Type K thermocouple)
- Flexibility: Silicone material enables bending radius ≥5× cable diameter for tight installations
- Chemical Resistance: Resistant to oils, acids, and ozone, suitable for harsh industrial environments
- Electrical Insulation: Insulation resistance ≥100 MΩ·km at 20°C
