Description

ERNiCrCoMo-1 welding wire is a nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum superalloy engineered for applications demanding unparalleled resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and thermal fatigue in extreme environments. With a composition of 45–55% nickel, 20–25% chromium, 10–15% cobalt, and 5–7% molybdenum, this advanced filler metal excels in welding nickel-based alloys like Inconel 617 and Haynes 230, as well as dissimilar joints involving stainless steels and cobalt superalloys. Its low carbon content (≤0.05%) and titanium stabilization (1–2%) mitigate carbide precipitation, ensuring weld integrity in temperatures up to 1,100°C (2,012°F) under aggressive conditions such as sulfuric acid flue gases, molten salt reactors, and coal gasification systems.

Certified to AWS A5.14 and ASME SFA-5.14 standards, ERNiCrCoMo-1 wire delivers exceptional tensile strength (≥760 MPa) and elongation (≥25%), making it ideal for gas turbine combustors, petrochemical cracking furnaces, and nuclear reactor heat exchangers. The alloy’s balanced thermal expansion coefficient (14.2×10⁻⁶/°C) and high thermal conductivity (11.5 W/m·K) minimize residual stress in cyclic thermal operations, while its resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking (SCC) ensures longevity in marine and offshore applications.
