This fabric upholstered armless chair is designed specifically for cafes and other hospitality settings such as restaurants, hotels, bistros, bars, homes, and public lounges. Its construction balances comfort and durability in high-traffic environments.
The seat and backrest feature a multi-layer internal structure. A molded polypropylene (PP) shell serves as the foundation, providing firm support that prevents sagging over time. On top of this shell, precision-cut shaped foam is attached. The foam is formulated to offer a balanced feel – soft enough to relieve pressure points during extended sitting, yet resilient enough to recover its shape quickly after each use. Wrapping this foam core is a high-quality fabric cover. The fabric is selected for its breathability, stain resistance, and ease of cleaning. Spills can be spot-cleaned quickly. The armless design allows the chair to slide completely under tables, maximizing aisle space in crowded cafes.
The leg frame is constructed from solid ash wood, available in natural or black finish. Ash wood is known for its high density, excellent shock resistance, and attractive open grain. The natural finish highlights the wood’s warm, organic character, while the black painted version suits modern, minimalist interiors. The four wooden legs are securely fixed to the chair’s underframe using a special mortise-and-tenon structure and environmentally friendly high-grade adhesive, ensuring a stable, wobble-free connection. Rubber glides are fitted to the bottom of each leg, protecting floors from scratches and reducing noise when chairs are moved.
This chair is ideal for cafes where guests may stay for hours working or socializing. The combination of PP foam padding and solid ash wood legs delivers a seating solution that requires minimal maintenance while offering long-term reliability.
