The automated sauce filling process typically begins by placing empty jars or bottles onto a conveyor belt system. This conveyor steadily moves containers through a series of precise stations:
At the first station, piston-driven heads precisely fill each jar or bottle, delivering consistent quantities of sauce or paste, regardless of viscosity. The horizontal mixing hopper ensures even distribution, so every container receives a uniform blend—no separation of oil and solids.
Filled containers move to the next station, where rotating heads automatically cap and seal each jar. The rotation of the capping head helps create a secure, vacuum-tight seal, maintaining freshness and preventing leaks.
For products that require it, the conveyor may carry filled and sealed jars directly into an oven or sterilization tunnel, where they are heated (for example, at 120°C for 20 minutes) to ensure complete sanitization of both the sauce and the packaging.
