The DIRECTV LNB 18 is a dual-output Ku-band Low-Noise Block (LNB) converter engineered for use with DIRECTV’s 18-inch round satellite dishes. As a core component of legacy DIRECTV systems, it specializes in receiving signals exclusively from the 101°W satellite, converting high-frequency (12.2–12.7 GHz) Ku-band satellite transmissions to a lower intermediate frequency (950–1450 MHz) compatible with 1–2 connected standard-definition (SD) receivers.
