Heavy Duty Log Washer
1.Product Introduction
A Heavy Duty Log Washer is a piece of heavy-industrial equipment specifically engineered for the mining, quarrying, and aggregate processing industries. It is designed to efficiently wash natural stone, ore, and aggregates by removing clay, silt, and other impurities. Its core components consist of high-strength steel rotating drums or paddles; through the synergy of mechanical friction and water flow, it achieves deep cleaning of materials, enhancing the purity and quality of raw materials for downstream processing.
2.Application
Mining and Quarries: Washing kaolin, limestone, granite, and other ores with high stickiness or mud content.
Aggregate Production: Used for the pretreatment of raw materials for concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials to ensure particle size consistency.
Sand and Gravel Processing: Removing fine dust and impurities in manufactured sand production lines to improve the quality of the finished sand.
Large-Scale Quarries: Suitable for industrialized production environments requiring high throughput and continuous operation.
3.Working Principle
The equipment is driven by a high-power motor that rotates one or more sets of heavy-duty steel drums (or shafts with paddles). Material enters from one end, and under the tumbling and scraping action of the paddles, surface clay and impurities are stripped away. Simultaneously, high-pressure water continuously rinses the material, discharging the separated silt and sand along with the wastewater. Some models are equipped with "scrubbing shoes" (reinforced steel plates) to enhance the mechanical removal of stubborn contaminants.
