1.Product Introduction
The Energy Efficient Screw Sand Washer is a high-performance washing solution featuring a spiral design and an efficient AC motor. Optimized for continuous industrial-grade operations, it uses screw blades to agitate, lift, and classify sand and gravel within a water tank. This process effectively separates impurities and dehydrates the material. Known for its low energy consumption, high durability, and eco-friendly features, it is widely used for raw material purification in construction, mining, and aggregate processing.
2.Application
Construction & Concrete Industry: Cleans manufactured and natural sand by removing clay, dust, and other impurities to enhance the strength and durability of concrete.
Sand & Quarry Production Lines: Functions as auxiliary equipment in sand-making systems to classify and wash crushed materials, improving the quality of the final product.
Glass & Foundry Industries: Ensures high-purity silica sand by removing iron-bearing and coloring impurities to meet precision manufacturing standards.
Environmental Remediation & Resource Recovery: Used for washing and reclaiming sand from contaminated soil or construction waste, supporting sustainable resource utilization.
3.Working Principle
Material Feeding: The sand-and-gravel mixture is fed into the inclined water tank through the feeding chute.
Spiral Agitation: An AC motor drives the reducer to rotate the screw shaft. The spiral blades continuously stir the material, causing sand particles to rub against each other and suspend impurities in the water.
Impurity Separation: Low-density impurities (such as silt and organic matter) are discharged via the overflow weir, while clean sand is slowly lifted by the spiral blades.
Dewatering & Output: Water drains away as the sand is lifted. Finally, the clean material is discharged from the outlet, achieving integrated washing, dewatering, and classification.
