The 6U 36kW Integrated ET48600 DC Rack Power System represents a compact, carrier-grade DC power conversion solution tailored for telecommunications central offices, mid-to-large scale data centers, and industrial settings requiring uninterrupted DC power. Operating from a single-phase 220V AC without a built-in circuit breaker, it employs rear copper busbars for wiring and provides fine-adjustable DC output ranging from –43V to –58V, with a nominal setting of –53.5V. With a peak capacity of 36kW, the system consistently achieves conversion efficiencies exceeding 96% across a broad load spectrum—lowering both electricity costs and cooling demands.
Built for high availability and ease of service, the system leverages a fully modular layout that accommodates up to twelve 3000W rectifier modules configured in N+1 or higher redundancy schemes. Each module is hot-swappable, weighs less than 2kg, and incorporates forced-air cooling with active power factor correction (≥0.99) and low total harmonic distortion (THDi ≤5%), ensuring grid-friendly performance and clean DC output. The complete assembly is contained within a 6U chassis designed for seamless integration into standard 19-inch racks. Front-access hot-swap capability simplifies field maintenance, while rear copper busbars ensure low-resistance, high-current connectivity. Power distribution is strategically governed by an integrated DC panel featuring both LLVD and BLVD capabilities, enabling intelligent load shedding and maximizing battery backup duration during mains outages. A sophisticated system controller allows comprehensive supervision and configuration, supported by 3 AI, 8 DI, 4 E-DI, 8 DO, and 8 E-DO ports, all fully user-programmable. Remote management is enabled via RS232, RS485, and SNMP interfaces, offering full oversight of alarms, performance metrics, and rectifier behavior. Local interaction is equally intuitive, with a front-panel LCD providing real-time system visibility and parameter adjustments—no extra tools required.
Designed to excel in demanding environmental conditions, the ET48600 operates reliably across ambient temperatures from –40°C to +65°C and humidity levels between 5% and 95% (non-condensing). It delivers rated power with no derating up to 3,000 meters above sea level. By integrating modular scalability, adaptive load management, and rugged construction, the ET48600 presents a forward-looking DC power platform for mission-critical environments where downtime imposes serious operational and financial impact.
