The cabinet is ideal for 5G base stations, microwave backhaul nodes, edge computing deployments, and distributed antenna systems where both performance and weight efficiency are critical.
Rated IP55, the cabinet offers complete dust-tight protection and resistance to low-pressure water jets from any direction. This level of ingress protection ensures that internal components remain safe from rain, dust, sand, and cleaning spray, making the cabinet suitable for deployment in coastal areas, industrial zones, and other challenging outdoor environments. High-quality EPDM gaskets around all doors and access points maintain sealing integrity through repeated use and across a wide temperature range.
Effective heat dissipation is essential for the reliability and longevity of outdoor telecom equipment. This cabinet incorporates a forced-air cooling system comprising 4 high-performance fans controlled by an integrated temperature controller. The fans automatically adjust their operation based on internal temperature conditions, optimizing cooling efficiency while minimizing energy consumption and noise.
The airflow follows a door intake and exhaust pattern – cool air is drawn in through the door, passes across the equipment, and warm air is expelled through the door outlets. Both intake and exhaust ports are equipped with covers and filter cotton to prevent dust and debris from entering the cabinet, maintaining a clean internal environment and protecting sensitive electronics from particulate contamination.
