Our Cold-Rolled DC01EK Enameling Steel is a specialized carbon steel substrate engineered specifically for vitreous and porcelain enameling applications within the global home appliance and kitchenware sectors. Under the EN 10209 standard, the suffix "EK" designates a low-carbon steel formulation meticulously processed to provide excellent conventional enameling characteristics (such as two-coat/one-fire or two-coat/two-fire processes).
Excellent Anti-Fishscaling Resistance : The micro-alloyed structure creates uniform hydrogen traps, ensuring that hydrogen gas escapes safely without blistering or chipping the fired porcelain glaze.
Flawless Enamel Adherence & Surface Finish : The surface texture is meticulously controlled via textured cold-rolling to provide the perfect microscopic roughness, maximizing the chemical and mechanical bond of the enamel layer.
High-Temperature Structural Stability : Engineered to maintain strict dimensional flatness and structural integrity during the extreme thermal cycles (800°C-860°C) of the enamel firing process.
