This rPET film-laminated Oxford fabric uses a 9×9 recycled polyester base layer bonded with a PU film laminate, creating a composite fabric with superior waterproofing and surface rigidity at 340 g/m² and 0.76 mm thickness. The film lamination provides a smooth, consistent surface finish and significantly enhances moisture barrier performance compared to standard PU-coated Oxford. Suitable for premium structured bags, outdoor cases, and equipment covers where high waterproofing and a polished exterior finish are required.

FAQ
PU coating applies a liquid polymer layer to the fabric surface, which bonds during curing. Film lamination bonds a separate pre-formed PU film layer to the fabric using heat and adhesive. Film lamination generally produces a more uniform surface, higher waterproofing performance, and greater surface stiffness compared to standard coating.
