Product Purpose:

The MH-Z9043P is a miniature high-reliability laser methane sensor developed by Winsen Electronics, adopting advanced TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) principle. Designed for civilian and commercial gas safety scenarios, it features exclusive selectivity to methane gas and completely resists interference from alcohol, formaldehyde, VOCs and other ambient gases. This sensor is mainly applied in smart home gas alarms, wall-mounted gas detectors, kitchen gas safety monitoring, indoor and commercial methane leakage early-warning devices. It provides stable and accurate gas concentration data for intelligent detection, automatic alarm and linkage protection of methane leakage.

Exclusive Gas Selectivity: Adopts laser spectral specific absorption technology for methane, zero response to common interfering gases such as ethanol, formaldehyde and TVOC. Effectively eliminates false alarms and ensures pure and accurate detection data.
Physical Detection & Anti-Poisoning: Works on physical laser detection mechanism without chemical reaction. No poisoning, aging or zero drift issues, delivering outstanding long-term stability and humidity resistance for indoor complex environments.
Oxygen-Independent Operation: Performs accurate detection regardless of ambient oxygen concentration, overcoming the failure defect of traditional catalytic sensors in oxygen-deficient environments with wider environmental adaptability.

Standard Multi-Output & Easy Integration: Supports TTL UART digital signal output and PWM waveform output. The universal communication protocol is compatible with mainstream MCU and intelligent control systems for fast secondary development.
Maintenance-Free & Long Service Life: Pre-calibrated before factory delivery, no regular manual calibration required. The effective service life is more than 10 years, greatly reducing after-sales maintenance costs.
