It has a narrow spectral sensitivity range of 185 nm to 260 nm and is completely insensitive to visible light. Unlike semiconductor detectors, it does not require a visible light cutoff filter, making it very convenient to use.

C10807-01 series was developed specifically for the UVTRON driving circuit. By using a double-sided printed circuit board, we have reduced the area to half that of the traditional driving circuit. Since the high-voltage power supply and signal processor are installed on the same circuit board, the C10807 only needs to connect one UVTRON and provide a low direct current voltage to operate as a highly sensitive ultraviolet sensor. The signal processing circuit can eliminate the background discharge that may occur in the ultraviolet sensor due to natural excitation light (cosmic rays, solar ultraviolet, etc.), thereby minimizing false detections to the greatest extent. Therefore, the output signal of the C10807 does not require additional filtering and can be used directly. When combined with the highly sensitive "UVTRON R9533R2868" (sold separately) as a flame detector, it can detect the flame from the - lighter (flame length 25 mm) at a distance of up to 5 meters. Its sensitivity is sufficient to detect such a flame.
