Features:
Twist switch is mainly used to control the on-off of vehicle lights and power circuits. For example, in the Ford Mondeo model, by rotating the twist switch on the light control panel, the near headlights can be turned on, and by moving the switch, the high beams can be activated. Additionally, some electrical devices (such as fans, lamps) also use knob-type switches to achieve power on-off control.
1. Function of L: L is the incoming live wire terminal. It connects to the live wire from the power supply, providing an energized input for the entire switch circuit. It is the starting point for the current to flow into the switch. When the switch is closed, the current flows into the L terminal and then through the internal circuit to other terminals.
2. Function of L1: L1 is one of the live wire output terminals. In a single-control switch, L1 is used in conjunction with L. When the switch is closed, the current flows into L, and then through the internal connection to L1, providing power to the controlled electrical equipment. In a dual-control switch, L1 can be connected to the corresponding terminal of another dual-control switch to achieve control of the same electrical device from different positions.
3. Function of L2: L2 is also a live wire output terminal. In a dual-control switch, it plays an important role. It is similar to L1 and is connected to the corresponding terminal of another dual-control switch. Through different switch state combinations, it changes the current path to achieve the purpose of controlling an electrical device such as a lamp in two or more positions.
