The Radio Shuttle Rack delivers unmatched inventory management flexibility by supporting both FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and LIFO (Last-In, First-Out) stock rotation within the same racking system. With access from both ends of each storage lane, operators can choose the optimal flow strategy based on product type, shelf-life requirements, and warehouse layout — all without reconfiguring the physical rack structure.

The RSR-FL-150 features access openings at both the front and rear of each storage lane. In FIFO operation, the shuttle cart loads pallets from the entry end and the forklift retrieves from the exit end — ensuring oldest stock ships first. In LIFO operation, both loading and unloading occur from the same end, with the shuttle positioning pallets sequentially. Operators switch between modes via the shuttle control interface without mechanical adjustments, providing on-the-fly inventory management flexibility.
This dual-mode system is particularly valuable in cold storage facilities where perishable goods require strict FIFO rotation, in food processing plants managing raw material freshness, and in distribution centers handling seasonal inventory that benefits from LIFO batch retrieval. The flexibility to switch between modes eliminates the need for separate racking sections, reducing both capital investment and operational complexity.
