Product Description
Anionic Polyacrylamide Emulsion (APAM Emulsion) is specifically designed for industrial wastewater treatment applications.
For industrial wastewater or mixed industrial and urban wastewater treatment, medium/low electric density and medium/high molecular weight products are typically used.
Urban sewage treatment employs medium/high electric density and medium/high molecular weight products, while sludge treatment requires high electric density products for optimal performance.
CPAM effectively removes organic components from wastewater through concentration and flotation processes.
Product Applications
Water Treatment Field
Polyacrylamide exhibits excellent flocculation properties in water treatment, facilitating rapid solid-liquid separation and accelerating sedimentation, thereby improving water quality.
Mineral Field
In mineral processing using flotation methods, polyacrylamide enhances adhesion and absorption between minerals and bubbles, increasing mineral recovery rates. Most minerals require dewatering during processing.
Paper Industry
High-speed paper machines benefit from retention and drainage technology. Polyacrylamide improves fiber and filler retention rates while enhancing paper stock drainability. It also serves as a sizing agent, improving paper waterproofing, persistence, and shelf life by forming dense films with fibers. Low molecular weight cationic polyacrylamide acts as a dispersant to improve paper uniformity.
Oilfield Field
Polymer flooding technology utilizes high molecular weight polyacrylamide to increase infusing water viscosity, improving oil-gas mobility ratios. This enables water to displace crude oil, enhancing oil yield.
