Applications
Water Treatment Field: Polyacrylamide provides excellent flocculation in water treatment, helping separate solid and liquid phases quickly while accelerating sedimentation. It works effectively with polyaluminum chloride (PAC) to remove chromacity, turbidity, oils, metal ions, fluoride, phosphate, and other contaminants from wastewater, while significantly reducing chemical dosage requirements.
Mineral Field: Enhances mineral recovery through improved adhesion and absorption between minerals and bubbles in flotation processes. Improves dewaterability of powder peat and reduces energy consumption by shortening stirring and heating times.
Paper Industry: Improves retention rates of fiber and filler while enhancing paper stock drainability. Acts as an effective sizing agent to improve water resistance, persistence, and shelf life. Low molecular weight cationic polyacrylamide serves as a dispersant for improved paper uniformity.
Oil and Gas Field: Modifies rheological properties of drilling fluids to carry lithic fragments, lubricate drills, and facilitate drilling operations. Used in polymer flooding technology to improve oil-gas mobility ratios and enhance oil recovery. Provides high viscosity, low frictional resistance, and excellent sand-carrying ability in fracturing processes.
