ISO 8752 65Mn Black Oxide Slotted Spring Pins (also known as roll pins or tension pins) are self-retaining, headless, hollow mechanical fasteners with a continuous slot down the center. Engineered from premium 65Mn high-carbon spring steel, these pins feature double-end chamfers for effortless insertion into drilled holes.
When driven into a hole slightly smaller than the pin's relaxed outer diameter, the pin contracts, applying continuous outward radial compression against the inner wall. This spring action provides superior friction resistance, preventing movement, shear displacement, and loosening caused by high vibration.
