Special function oil cylinder type
In addition to the basic types mentioned above, special functional cylinders may also be used in excavator hydraulic systems to meet specific operating conditions. Boosting cylinder is one of them, which amplifies the system pressure locally through the difference in piston area of different sizes, and obtains a larger output force 816 without the need to comprehensively increase the system pressure. The booster cylinder is particularly suitable for situations in excavators that require local high pressure, such as driving the breaker hammer. Its working principle is based on the inverse relationship between pressure and area: when medium pressure oil is input to the large area piston side, the small area piston side can output higher pressure oil or greater mechanical force.
Another special oil cylinder that may be applied in large excavators is the synchronous oil cylinder system, which is linked by two or more oil cylinders through mechanical or hydraulic means to ensure synchronous action of multiple actuators. In ultra large excavators or special structural designs, multiple oil cylinders may need to work together to drive the same working component, and synchronous control becomes crucial. The synchronous oil cylinder system can be achieved through mechanical linkage rods, diversion valves, or electronic control to ensure strict synchronization of the position and speed of each oil cylinder, avoiding deformation or damage caused by uneven structural stress.
