- MTP/MPO attenuator loopback can achieve 40/100G parallel optical transmission system or other similar applications of a channel optical signal uniform attenuation; conventional attenuation methods require multiple independent attenuator to be applied to different optical signal channels, which is inefficient.
- MTP/MPO Loopback Attenuator provides a fast and efficient solution to test the performance to transmit and the receiving sensitivity of the optical network device. It can obviously simplify the design of the network and provides more accurate and wider range (0-25dB) performance than similar products for 40G/100G optical link test applications.
- The devices are available for 8-Fibers, 12-Fibers, 16-Fiber, 24-Fibers or 32-Fibers versions and customer specified pinout configurations, as well as multiple fiber types to match an existing system.
- MPO Attenuator is used to reduce optical-signal electric power in all channels of 40/100G Parallel Optic Transmission, and other equipment with using MPO interconnection.
- Technique of this product makes network's composition more concise than those of conservative way which is the connection method of attenuator independently in each channel, as downsizing the volume and saving time.
- The alternative build out style attenuator is a small male-female adapter that can be added on to other cables.
- The fiber optic attenuators can be used on a more permanent basis in order to match the signal with a transmitter and receiver's specific power levels. Commonly used attenuation range is from 1dB to 30dB.
