The optical splice enclosure box is using for fiber optic cable splicing, they provides space and protection for the fiber optic cable splicing and joint.

The optical splice enclosure box belongs to the accommodation of the optical fiber fusion splice section system. It is widely applied to the connection of the fiber play the roles in sealing, protection, installation of fiber connector head and storage.

The KCO-J106M-144 fiber optic splice closure box with 5 mechanical ports is designed for outdoor fiber optic cable connection and protection. It is maximum can splice 144 fibers (6 splice trays).

It is suitable for the connection of the outdoor fiber optic cable, using for aerial, manhole or underground, ....

The splice closure cable port is mechanical type. It can be opened again and reused after installation. Each optical cable and fiber can be operated individually.

It is waterproof, match IP67 grade.

The splice closure casing is made of quality engineering plastics such as ABS or PC or PP. With good performance of anti-erosion against acid and alkali salt, anti-aging, as well as smooth appearance and reliable mechanical structure.

The mechanical structure is reliable and has the performance of resisting wild environment and intensive climate changes and serious working environment.

The splice trays is inside the closure are turn-able like booklets, and have adequate curvature radius and space for winding optical fiber to make sure the curvature radius for optical winding 40 mm.

• Flattening: The box body is sealed and inflated at 60KPa ± 5Kpa, and it can bear the horizontal uniform pressure of 2000N / 10cm. The pipe can withstand 600N / 10cm without change of air pressure.
• Hit: the box after sealing inflatable 60KPa ± 5Kpa, in the box above the 1.6 drop 1 kg steel ball, the impact of three times, the box does not crack, pressure no change;
• Bending: the box after sealing inflatable 60KPa ± 5Kpa, tension load 150N, bending angle ± 45°, 10 cycles, no change in air pressure;

• Insulation resistance: water depth 1.5m, soak 24hr, the insulation resistance ≥ 2 * 104MΩ;
• Resistance to voltage intensity: water depth 1.5m, soak 24hr, 15KV DC 1min without breakdown, no arcing phenomenon;
• High temperature test: the box after sealing inflated 60kPa ± 5kPa, at + 60 ℃ for 2hr, the box without deformation, no leakage;
• Low-temperature test: box sealed inflatable 60kPa ± 5kPa. The temperature at -40 ℃ for 2hr, the box without deformation, no leakage;
• Temperature cycle test: the box after sealing inflatable 60kPa ± 5kPa. -40 ℃ each point constant temperature 2hr, three cycles, the pressure drop amplitude ≤ 5kPa.
