Brief Introduction

ECG lead wires are essential patient consumables for connecting ECG monitors and ECG machines. ECG monitors are widely used in various clinical departments and pre-hospital emergency services to facilitate and better observe the patient's condition changes and vital signs. It is very common especially in intensive care units and emergency rooms, and is widely used in hospitals.

Functional

This ECG lead wire can be reused. The splitter is assembled and has the advantages of high insulation and voltage resistance. It has stronger tensile and bending resistance, and the overall linear connection is more reliable.

Made of medical TPU plastic and low-impedance wires, it has excellent texture, resistance to bending, and corrosion resistance.

Working principle: ECG is a manifestation of electrophysiological activity. During the beating of the heart, a series of electrophysiological changes will occur, and these electrophysiological changes will be transmitted to the human body surface. The ECG wire electrodes of the connector can pick up these electrical signals and, after amplification, convert them into waveforms and digital signals, and display this signal through the monitor.

Scope of application: Used in conjunction with ECG monitoring equipment to transmit human body bioelectrical signals and measure the patient's EDG.

Specification

Clean

When cleaning or disinfecting, do not connect the ECG lead wire to the monitor. Clean or disinfect before use on new patients. When cleaning, first dip a clean, dry sponge pad in cleaning solution. Use this sponge pad to wipe all surfaces of the ECG lead wires and cables. Then dampen another clean, dry sponge pad with sterile or steamed water. Use the sponge pad to wipe all surfaces of the ECG lead wires and cables. Finally, wipe all surfaces of the ECG lead wires with a clean, dry sponge pad.

Use 2% gordialdehyde solution and 10% sodium chloride bath solution to wipe and disinfect the ECG lead wires. The disinfection time should be no less than 2 minutes.

Use running water to wash off the disinfectant on the ECG lead wires, and then wipe dry the ECG lead wires with a cordless soft dry cloth.

Note: The connector pins must not come into contact with the cleaning wave, otherwise it will cause permanent damage to the ECG lead wires and monitoring instruments.

Replacing and discarding leather

Replacement: If the wire is broken, the electrode is damaged, the outer skin is damaged, the validity period has expired, etc., please replace it with a new lead wire in time. Disposal: Discarded ECG lead wires are medical waste. Please find a professional department for recycling.
