It is a key structural component of the monitor's power supply system. The core function of the battery compartment is to stably house the monitor's dedicated battery, ensuring a reliable conductive connection between the battery and the monitor's motherboard.
1. High Adaptability: This battery compartment is custom-molded to the Datascope Passport2's dedicated battery, using a snap-lock switch to ensure battery stability during device movement, preventing the device from shutting down due to battery loosening caused by bumps.
2. Stable Power Supply: The battery compartment features built-in gold-plated conductive contacts with a spring-loaded telescopic structure. The contact resistance is ≤0.05Ω, effectively reducing current transmission loss and preventing voltage fluctuations caused by poor contact.
3. High Protection: The bottom of the battery compartment features two leak-proof grooves and one drainage hole. Leaks caused by long-term battery use can drain through the grooves to the outside of the monitor, preventing electrolyte corrosion of the circuitry. Ventilation holes are also included to dissipate heat generated during battery operation, reducing capacity degradation due to high temperatures and extending battery life.

Q1: After prolonged use, the battery compartment lock switch fails to spring back after pressing, preventing battery removal. What should I do?
A1: Gently pry both sides of the lock switch with a flathead screwdriver while simultaneously pulling the battery outwards. This may temporarily remove the battery. At this point, check if the internal spring of the battery compartment is damaged and replace the damaged part promptly to avoid affecting device operation.
Q2: A small amount of liquid leakage is found at the bottom of the battery compartment. Will this damage the monitor? How should I handle the leakage?
A2: If the leakage is less than 2ml and has flowed into the leak-proof groove without contacting other parts, no further action is needed. If the leakage has overflowed the groove, immediately stop and shut down the device. Absorb the leaked liquid in the groove with a cotton swab and clean the groove thoroughly. Check if the conductive contacts are corroded. Replace the battery and restart the device to check for any abnormalities in the monitor's operation.
Q3: After installing the battery compartment, the monitor displays a "full charge" battery, but after one hour of use, the charge level suddenly drops to "low charge." What could be the reason? A3: One reason is poor contact of the battery compartment's conductive contacts, leading to inaccurate power detection data; the other is a faulty battery compartment power detection contact, preventing normal data transmission. First, clean the conductive contacts, restart the device, and observe the power level. If it is still abnormal, battery calibration is required. If it is still abnormal and replacing the battery does not resolve the issue, then the battery compartment assembly needs to be replaced.
