This is a USB interface board for EDAN F6 fetal monitor. As its name suggests, it is an interface for connecting external USB. It can transmit the data of the device to the external device, such as sending the collected fetal heart rate curve, uterine contraction pressure, uterine contraction record and other data to a USB flash drive, or transmitting to a printer to print a paper report. It can also receive external signals, such as the PC upgrade program required for system upgrade, the signal transmitted by the external keyboard, etc. It is the key hub for the digital upgrade of Edan F6.
It can mainly reflect the function in some clinical scenarios; emergency printing in the delivery room: insert a USB flash drive to back up important data (fetal heart rate, uterine contraction pressure, etc.) to prevent data loss caused by equipment failure. It can also move data in an emergency (shortage of thermal paper), find other solutions, and have multiple options to avoid delaying clinical diagnosis and treatment.

■ Installation and troubleshooting
1. USB interface board replacement steps
① First check whether the power is cut off, then open the back cover of the host;
② Remove the interface board fixing screws and pull out the old interface board;
③ Install the new interface board according to the meaning of the interface and tighten the screws;
④ Turn on the computer to check whether the USB interface function is normal: Enter [System Settings] → [USB Function Self-Test].
