The Mindray N1 monitor's parameter board is the core module for parameter processing, integrating and processing various physiological parameter signals, such as ECG, SPO2, NIBP, and respiration. These optical signals are transmitted to relevant modules, converted into electrical signals, and displayed on a display screen for medical personnel to view. The various components work together to achieve visual signal conversion.

The parameter board, while powerful, boasts a compact design, measuring approximately 105mm × 85mm × 12mm and weighing only 75g. It isolates each parameter module, effectively reducing signal interference.

The monitor's blood oxygen sensor board operates independently of the parameter board. As a separate module, it utilizes Mindray's customized optical signal processing chip, supporting dual-wavelength measurements at 660nm/940nm. It seamlessly connects to the parameter board's main control circuitry via a high-speed data bus (transmission rate of 1.2Gbps). With an operating temperature range of 5°C to 40°C and stable performance at 95% humidity (non-condensing), it is suitable for both transport and bedside monitoring.

You can customize thresholds and monitor real-time signals. When any data is abnormal, an alarm signal is triggered within 100ms, alerting medical staff to promptly review the abnormality and take appropriate action.

4. Low Power Management

Dynamic power allocation technology automatically reduces the power consumption of non-critical circuits in battery mode, resulting in an overall power consumption of ≤2.5W. When used with the N1 host battery, it can support 8 hours of continuous monitoring and automatically enters sleep mode (power consumption <0.3W) when in standby mode.

Q1: What symptoms might a parameter board failure cause?

A1: Common symptoms include a constant display of a parameter, abnormal synchronization of multiple parameters, frequent false alarms or no alarms, and waveform distortion.

Q2: Is recalibration required after replacing the parameter board?

A2: Yes. Mindray's dedicated calibration tool is required to calibrate blood oxygen and NIBP to ensure SpO₂ error ≤2% and blood pressure error ≤3 mmHg.

Q3: Can the blood oxygen board be replaced separately?

A3: No. The blood oxygen board is an integrated module of the parameter board and is connected to the main circuit via solder pads. Replacing it separately requires specialized soldering equipment and may damage the shielding layer. We recommend replacing the entire parameter board.

Q4: How should parameter drift after long-term use be addressed?

A4: Zero point calibration (such as ECG baseline calibration and blood oxygen dark current calibration) can be performed through the "System Maintenance" menu on the main unit. If drift exceeds tolerance (such as a blood pressure display deviation of >5 mmHg), an engineer must recalibrate using dedicated software.
