A positive displacement pump feeds the solution into a high-speed rotating disc-type liquid applicator, while a unidirectional dispenser delivers the powder in alternating cycles. Cycle time depends on the product type and the amount of ingredients added. Therefore, precise control of batch size and liquid and powder delivery is essential to maintain the consistency of the final coated product.
