The Destroyer 05 is Ocean Network's first sedan and the first model of the warship series. Destroyer 05 is an A+ class sedan, which adopts the "ocean aesthetic" design concept, which perfectly interprets the young, enterprising and open attitude of the new generation of BYD models. In appearance, the front face grille design of destroyer 05 is inspired by the ripples of ocean waves, and further stretches the visual width of the vehicle through the droplet lattice and staggered decorative bars, achieving innovation in inheritance. At the same time, the entire series of destroyer 05 uses LED Starlight battleship headlights, and the highly recognizable through-line daylights combined with the decorative strip above further strengthen its sense of technology.

Destroyer 05 adopts DM-i super hybrid technology, equipped with Snapcloud-plug-in special 1.5L efficient engine, engine thermal efficiency reaches the industry-leading 43.04%; EHS electric mixing system integrates dual motor, dual electronic control and special hybrid transmission, with DM-i special power blade battery can not only achieve pure electric green city travel, but also make the engine full speed section in the best working efficiency range.

Interior features

On December 26, 2021, according to the official Weibo of BYD Auto, the new interior of destroyer 05 model was officially released, "The beauty of the ocean, a 'ship' is enamelled." The BYD Destroyer 05 has an 8.8-inch full LCD dashboard and a 15.6-inch adaptive rotary hover Pad for smart connectivity. In addition, the model has a knob shift button, small and delicate.

In terms of color, the interior color of Destroyer 05 is also composed of four innovative color combinations: Basalt black, sky gray, Quantum bright gray and Jacaranda pink.

Destroyer 05 has more than 17 high value standard features, including 12.8-inch adaptive rotary hover Pad, 15.6-inch premium hover Pad, LED daytime running lights, keyless entry, TPMS direct tire pressure monitoring system, one-click start, automatic air conditioning, rear outlet, cruise control, external rearview mirror electric adjustment + heating, and more.
