The SED-JPG-2 Capsule Polishing Machine is a versatile, high-speed solution designed to elevate the quality standards of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production. Engineered to remove excess dust and powder from the surface of capsules and tablets (including sugar-coated and plain varieties), this machine ensures a professional, high-gloss finish for every batch.
Beyond polishing, the SED-JPG-2 features an integrated automatic rejection system. Utilizing advanced negative pressure technology, it identifies and removes underfilled capsules, empty shells, fragments, and separated components, ensuring only premium-quality products reach your packaging line.

Working Principle
The SED-JPG-2 utilizes a rotating brush system to drive capsules in a circular spiral path along the polishing tube. As the capsules advance through the spiral spring, the constant friction between the brush and the tube wall buffs the shell to a high shine.
During this process:
Polishing: Dust is scrubbed off and pulled through small perforations in the cylinder wall into a vacuum system
Sorting: Lightweight, unqualified capsules (underfilled or empty) are lifted by negative pressure and diverted into a waste collector
Discharge: Heavy, qualified capsules continue their descent through the movable hopper for the next stage of production
