Description:

The core of the equipment is a porous rotating coating drum, with streamlined guide plates on the inner wall. After the tablets are loaded into the drum, the drum rotates at a variable frequency, and the tablets continuously tumble and circulate in three dimensions under the drive of the guide plates, without any static accumulation layer. The coating suspension is quantitatively delivered by a high-precision peristaltic pump relying on the squeezing peristaltic effect of the hose, and is transported through pipelines to a precision spray gun inside the drum; compressed air atomizes the coating medium into uniform fine droplets, which are continuously sprayed onto the surface of the tumbling tablets.

The entire system operates under closed negative pressure; highly filtered clean hot air penetrates the drum openings and runs through the tablet bed, rapidly evaporating the solvent in the coating solution; wet exhaust gas is continuously discharged. Spraying and drying are carried out simultaneously and continuously, forming a uniform, dense, and smooth film coating layer by layer on the tablet surface, enabling water-soluble film coating, enteric coating, controlled-release coating, and flavor-masking coating. The entire process is fully automated with PLC+HMI control; all parameters, including drum speed, spray flow rate, inlet air temperature, negative pressure, and atomization pressure, are adjustable, and process formulation storage is supported.

The peristaltic pump delivers coating solution to spray guns based on peristalsis principle.Rollers rotate and continuously squeeze the flexible tubing. The squeezed section pushes liquid forward; when the roller moves away, the tubing rebounds and generates negative pressure to suck coating medium. Recurring compression and relaxation produce stable continuous liquid flow to the spraying system.
