Mobile Cone Mill With Low Heat Generation For Wet Material Granulating
Description:
Material enters the conical granulation chamber from the top hopper under gravity, where a motor drives an internal impeller (rotor) to rotate. The impeller generates centrifugal force, pushing agglomerated material outwards against the inner wall of the conical screen. Through the combined squeezing and shearing action generated by the high-speed relative motion between the impeller and the screen, the agglomerates are broken up and reshaped. Particles conforming to the specified aperture are squeezed through the screen holes and quickly discharged from the bottom of the equipment. Material larger than the screen holes continues to circulate and shear within the chamber until the required particle size is achieved.
The equipment uses belt drive for low-speed, gentle granulation, minimizing frictional heat generation and preventing heat-sensitive materials from deteriorating. Changing the screen aperture allows for flexible adjustment of the finished particle size. The hand-push mobile frame is merely a carrier for convenient transport within a cleanroom and does not alter the core granulation principle.
This mobile conical granulator is made of sanitary-grade stainless steel and relies on the squeezing and shearing action of an impeller and a conical screen to complete the granulation process. It features low-noise belt drive, minimal material heat generation, and can handle wet, gelatinous, and agglomerated materials. The handcart frame facilitates transport in cleanrooms, and it is widely used for pharmaceutical granulation and agglomeration breaking.

It can also handle agglomerated materials formed from substandard tablets, and is particularly suitable for granulation of coarse materials, low-viscosity lumps, gels, and various wet materials.
