Product Description

     

The batch-off cooler is usually paired with internal mixers, rubber roll-head extruders or rubber sheeting mills. The rubber cooler dips rubber sheet in liquid where it is cooled and then dried. The sheets are then transported and piled on the batch-off cooler.

 Type:

1: Overhead type(hanging type): typically features high space utilization. The rubber sheets are suspended by a hanging device and move within the cooling area, providing good cooling effects, suitable for cooling larger rubber sheets.

2: Floor-standing type(floor-standing type): placed directly on the ground, with a relatively compact structure, making installation and maintenance convenient, suitable for rubber production enterprises of different scales.

Working principle

Feeding: The rubber sheets extruded from the extruder are conveyed to the cooling machine via a conveyor belt or other conveying systems.

Roller Transfer: The rubber sheets move on a series of rollers inside the cooling machine, which help to maintain the tension of the rubber sheets, allowing them to move smoothly during the cooling process.

Water Cooling: Water plays a crucial role in the cooling process. During the cooling process, the rubber sheets are partially or fully immersed in a water bath, where they absorb heat from the water to achieve cooling.

Temperature Control: Precisely controlling the temperature and flow rate of the water is a key parameter in the cooling process. By adjusting these parameters, the specific rubber compounds can be cooled at the appropriate rate.

Cooling chamber cooling: The film cooler usually consists of multiple cooling chambers, where the rubber sheets gradually reduce in temperature and solidify inside the chambers.

Structural composition

Transport device: Includes feed conveyor and discharge conveyor, responsible for transporting the rubber sheets into the cooler and then out after cooling.

Cooling drum: The rubber sheets move on the cooling drum, and the drum is usually equipped with cooling water inside to enhance the cooling effect.

Cooling chamber: It is equipped with cooling pipes, nozzles, and other devices, which can cool the rubber sheets through spraying water or misting.

Temperature control system: It is equipped with temperature sensors and controllers, which can monitor and regulate the temperature during the cooling process in real time to ensure the stability of the cooling effect.

Drying device: After the rubber sheets are cooled, it is used to remove the moisture on the surface of the rubber sheets to prevent them from sticking together.
