Continuous polyurethane foam flexible insulation pipe extrusion line is a professional and advanced manufacturing equipment dedicated to producing high-quality flexible insulation pipes. This line is designed to fabricate pipes with a diameter ranging from 20 to 110 mm, integrating mature continuous production technology to meet the needs of global heating and cooling supply projects.
The continuous method adopted by this line is a relatively new advanced manufacturing technology. The inner tube (working tube, usually made of PE-RT, PE, PPR, PP, HDPE or PEXa material) and the polyurethane foam mixture are continuously injected into the filling area, then covered with a protective film, followed by the outer protective tube (HDPE) covering the polyurethane insulation layer.
Compared with traditional technologies, the continuous method can effectively reduce the density of the filled foam and the wall thickness of the outer protective tube, thereby significantly saving raw material costs for pipe manufacturers.
Notably, the continuous method is applicable to both hose insulation and rigid pipe insulation, with strong versatility to adapt to different project requirements.
Polyurethane PERT insulation pipe is called flexible insulation pipe internationally; the Chinese standard name is II type heat-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT II) low-temperature direct buried heating pipe. It is an ideal choice for modern underground heating systems due to its excellent thermal insulation performance and durability.
It saves raw materials by using PE-RT II pipe. Example: Level 2 design pressure: 10 Bar, suitable for cold and hot water transfer in buildings. When selecting different material pipes, PE-RT II has the highest S value and the thinnest wall thickness, achieving optimal material utilization.
Compared to PERT I, PE-RT II can reduce material use by 15%; relative to PP-R, PE-RT II can reduce material use by 30%. Note: According to relevant Chinese national standards and draft.
