Primarily designed for Single Point Mooring, Mining, and Cable floatation applications, Hose & Cable Floats are essential for ensuring efficient and safe operations. These floats have open, rounded edges that provide flexibility in movement for the hoses/cables to adjust to currents and wind conditions. To ensure tight fitment, Rubber pads are provided. As a standard feature, the floats are PU filled.

Floats are constructed using high impact polyethylene material and are available in 2 halves. Technical Parameters:

Closed Cell Polyurethane Filling: This filling option is available and floats can be supplied as empty shells based on the customer's requirements. The CellFoam used for filling is an environmentally friendly and sustainable material.

PN: The PN (Pressure Rating) is indicated for each float, for instance PN16 is suitable for 16 kg/cm² pressure. This information is provided to ensure that customers select the appropriate float for their specific needs.

SDR: The SDR (Standard Dimension Ratio) of the pipe is the ratio of its outer diameter to its thickness. This determines the pressure rating and the wall thickness of the pipe. It is important to consider the SDR when selecting a float to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
