Product Introduction
As a classic solid color PETG 3d printing filament, it prints as smoothly as PLA and is as strong and durable as ABS. It is not only warp-resistant and resistant to stringing, but also highly water-resistant. Combined with low moisture absorption, excellent interlayer adhesion, and good light transmittance, it is particularly suitable for printing functional parts, storage boxes, outdoor gear, lampshades, and decorative items intended for long-term use.
 

Advantage
1. Excellent Printability (No Warping, No Odor)

This is PETG's core advantage. Unlike ABS, PETG has extremely low shrinkage during printing and is almost never warped from the heated bed due to uneven cooling (no enclosed cavity required). Simultaneously, it has virtually no pungent odor during printing (only a slightly sweet smell), making it very friendly to home and office environments, and it doesn't require the rigorous drying process of nylon (although drying is recommended for optimal results).

2. Excellent Mechanical Properties (Rigidity and Flexibility)

PETG's toughness is far superior to PLA. It possesses a degree of flexibility, bending slightly under stress rather than breaking directly, resulting in extremely strong interlayer adhesion and preventing delamination of printed parts. This makes it ideal for printing functional parts that need to withstand vibration, impact, or certain loads (such as drone arms and mechanical supports).

3. Excellent Weather and Chemical Resistance

PETG has good water resistance, does not absorb water and swell, and resists corrosion from most acids, alkalis, and oils. Compared to PLA, which is prone to brittleness and degradation under outdoor sun and rain, PETG is more suitable for long-term outdoor use or environments exposed to oil and dirt.

4. Excellent Light Transmittance and Gloss
PETG is a translucent material with excellent light transmittance in its natural state. If you use transparent pigments, you can easily print crystal-clear models, making it ideal for creating lampshades, display cases, or visual parts depicting liquid flow. Its surface has a high gloss, with a texture significantly superior to matte PLA.

5. Higher Heat Resistance (Stronger than PLA)
PETG's glass transition temperature is approximately 80-85℃, compared to PLA (approximately 60℃), making it more resistant to deformation in summer car interiors or hot water environments. While not as high as ABS (100℃+), it meets the needs of most everyday uses.
