Product Introduction
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a bio‑based, biodegradable thermoplastic derived from plant starches such as corn and cassava, and it is the most widely used filament for FDM 3D printing. With a typical printing temperature of 190–220°C, it prints well without a heated bed and emits only a faint sweet scent reminiscent of toasted corn, making it safe and pleasant for indoor or office use. Its key advantages include very low shrinkage, which minimizes warping and ensures high dimensional accuracy for detailed models; excellent interlayer adhesion that results in stiff, rigid parts; and a wide range of vibrant colors with easy post‑processing—sanding, painting, and gluing are all straightforward. Moreover, PLA is gentle on nozzles, affordable, and highly cost‑effective, making it the top choice for figurines, prototypes, and display pieces.

   • Very low warping: PLA has minimal shrinkage during cooling, so large models stay flat on the build plate with very few failures.
