PVC coated overlay film for plastic cards is engineered to deliver high clarity, strong adhesion, and long-lasting protection for all types of plastic card applications. Perfect for ID cards, loyalty cards, membership cards, access control cards, and more.
PVC coated overlay is a thin layer of PVC material that is applied to the surface of various substrates to provide protection, enhance durability, and improve aesthetics.
It has higher peel strength and it is suitable for laminating with most of PVC sheets printed by various printers.
All inks require an adhesive layer between ink and overlay to provide a superior bond, so we offer a complete range of suitable coatings for all our overlay films to enhance bond strength. These adhesives can be used with UV (offset or silk screen) and oxidative inks. They meet or exceed ISO Peel strength standards and are available in rolls or sheets. And we have designed specific coatings to prevent distortion during lamination; And, it offers a wider processing window.

PVC overlay is a transparent layer that is applied to the surface of a plastic card. It acts as a protective barrier, shielding the underlying card from scratches, fading, and moisture. The strong coated adhesive ensures that the overlay firmly adheres to the card, providing long-lasting protection.
One side is a smooth surface, another side is coved with glue.
It has better adaptability to various inks. It features much longer aging time and higher peel strength. It is quite suitable for laying magnetic stripes on its surface with dry coating surface. It can ensure better legibility of anti-fake marks on card surface. It is environmentally friendly without abnormal smells.
