Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic synthetic resin with excellent performance. It is a colorless and translucent thermoplastic lightweight general-purpose plastic material. It has chemical resistance, heat resistance, electrical insulation, high strength mechanical properties and good high Wear resistance, etc. The density is 0.89～0.91g/cm3, the melting point is 165℃, and the temperature range is -30～140℃. It is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis, salt solutions and a variety of organic solvents below 80°C, is not prone to chemical reactions, and is moisture-proof and rain-proof. All are mostly used as raw materials for outdoor chairs.
The load-bearing capacity of polypropylene is very strong also. It is one of the lightest varieties in plastics. The total weight of a PP chair is generally 3.5kg~4.5kg only, but it can bear a weight of 300kg, which is very popular among European and American customers.
