HDPE 5000S is a high‑density polyethylene resin manufactured by Daqing Petrochemical Company. It comes in milky‑white translucent cylindrical pellets. This grade features narrow molecular‑weight distribution and medium melt flow index, specially developed for blow molding and flat yarn applications. Its melt flow rate reaches 1 g/10 min measured via the internal test method. Well‑known within the HDPE portfolio, 5000S delivers excellent tensile strength (25 MPa at yield, 30 MPa at break) and 30‑hour environmental stress‑crack resistance with a density of 0.95 g/cm³. End‑products made from this resin exhibit outstanding heat resistance, cold resistance, wear resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties.
Widely recognized as a classic benchmark grade in the Asia-Pacific woven packaging industry, this HDPE grade is extensively used for producing woven bags, flexible intermediate bulk containers, ropes, nets and industrial strapping tapes. It is also ideal for processing fishing net threads, flat belts and strapping bands for industrial use.
