Reliable Non-Metallic Object Detection: The PK6532 is a dedicated capacitive proximity switch designed for non-contact detection of almost all types of materials, including liquids, powders, granules, plastics, wood, glass, and metals. Its operating principle is based on changes in capacitance; when any object with a dielectric constant different from air approaches the sensing surface, the switch is triggered. Its application range far exceeds that of inductive switches, which can only detect metals.
Wide Voltage Input Range: Supports a wide operating voltage range of 10...30 V DC, perfectly compatible with the mainstream 24V DC control systems used in industrial automation. This wide range enhances the product's adaptability and universality under various power supply conditions.
NPN Output for Easy Integration: Features an NPN transistor output. An NPN output "sinks" current to ground when active, typically connected to a "sourcing" input of a PLC. This output type is very common in industrial automation, facilitating easy integration with mainstream control systems.
Normally Open (NO) Output Function: The output function is Normally Open (NO). When no object is detected, the output is open (high level or off state). When an object enters the sensing range, the output turns on (closes or goes low). This logic is clear and suitable for most control scenarios requiring a "presence detected" signal.
