The GE IS220PVIBH1A is a Vibration Monitor Pack part of the Mark VIe control system, integrating GE’s legacy Speedtronic technology. It serves as an electrical interface between 1–2 Ethernet I/O networks and the TVBA vibration terminal board, monitoring turbine health via vibration and proximity data. As an "A"-revision variant of the IS220PVIBH1 parent pack, it features a processor board, acquisition board, and daughterboard, supporting reliable operation in gas/steam turbine systems.
Key Features:
Vibration Sensing: 13 channels collect data from Proximitors, accelerometers, Velomitors, and seismics; Channels 9–12 exclusively support Proximitors, while Channel 13 accepts proximity or Keyphasor signals.
Performance Metrics: Minimum 5V DC common mode voltage, -50 dB CMRR at 50/60 Hz, and support for frame rates via dual 10/100 Ethernet ports.
Reliability: Integrates TMR and simplex backup; includes a high-speed processor, watchdog timer, temperature sensor, and auto-reconfiguration for seamless replacement via ToolboxST.
Design: Compact with conformal coating for protection; mounts via threaded studs, with a DC-37 pin connector linking to the terminal board. LEDs provide visual diagnostics for operational status.
