The GE IS230SRLYH2A is a Simplex Relay Output Terminal Board under the Mark VIe Series, designed for industrial control systems. As a simplex “S-type” terminal board, it accepts PDOA/YDOA I/O packs and delivers 12 Form C relay output circuits via 48 customer terminals, enabling reliable control of field devices through relay switching. Manufactured in the U.S. and readily available, it features a surface-mount design, operates in -30 to 65°C, and uses free-air convection cooling—suited for harsh industrial environments. Its compact, standardized S-type form factor supports double stacking and aligns with other Mark VIe S-type boards for seamless cabinet integration.
Key Features:
Relay Output Capabilities: Provides 12 Form C relays with fast response times. Contact life is rated at 100,000 electrical operations and 10,000,000 mechanical operations, ensuring long-term reliability in high-cycle industrial use.
Diagnostic Functionality:Equipped with a read-only ID chip— PDOA/YDOA I/O packs read this chip, triggering hardware incompatibility faults if mismatches occur.Each relay includes an isolated contact pair for position feedback, enabling real-time monitoring of relay status via PDOA/YDOA.When paired with option boards, uses isolated voltage feedback to monitor fuse status; generates diagnostic alarms if fuses open while voltage is present.
Option Board Compatibility: Supports three specialized option boards to extend functionality:
WROB---Converts SRLY to TRLY1B equivalence, supplying fused/sensed power to 6 relays and dedicated power to the 7th.
WROF---Adds a single fuse to each relay’s common connection, with fuse voltage feedback.
WROG---Uses one fuse to distribute power to all relays, with fuse voltage feedback.
Simplified Configuration & Installation:No built-in jumpers,WROBH1 is the only option board with 6 jumpers for relay power control, shipped pre-installed.
Euro-style pluggable terminals and standardized S-type mounting simplify wiring, replacement, and cabinet organization. Supports double stacking to save space.
Industrial Durability: Surface-mount technology resists vibration and temperature fluctuations; operates in extreme humidity and relies on free-air convection for cooling—no external cooling systems required. Complies with Mark VIe ecosystem standards for cohesive integration with controllers and I/O packs.
